Our space has been thoughtfully reimagined through an exclusive collaboration with Cloud Haus, a contemporary furniture brand known for its serene minimalism, sculptural form, and refined materiality. This partnership has transformed Dia Studio into more than a content creation studio it’s now also a living showroom experience.

As part of this collaboration, Cloud Haus pieces are styled throughout the studio, offering guests an immersive look into their signature aesthetic. The curated presence of their furniture elevates the visual tone of our studio and introduces new creative possibilities for photography and video production.

Where are we located?

Our studio is in Johannesburg, Hyde Park.

Is there air-conditioning?

We have air conditioning, a fan and a gas heater for the winter.

Is there parking?

We have private parking at our studio and additional parking on the studio roadside. 

Do I need to notify you if I need to park?

Yes. You can give us a call when you are a minute away from our location so we can help you park your vehicle before your session.

What do I get when I book the studio?

Depends on the studio you book, please refer to our book tab and see description below.

Is every item on your page in the studio?

No. The decorative furniture/accessories you see on our social media platforms are not always property of the studio. It's always best to confirm if there is an item you want to use for your shoot/event. 

Can I cancel?

Cancellations are not allowed, you can only reschedule.

Can I reschedule? 

Yes. You can reschedule up to 24hrs before your booking.

How many people are allowed in the studio per booking?

Only 5 people are allowed in studio per booking. Anything more is considered a production. Productions are only allowed to book half day or full day. 

Does my booking come with a photographer?

No. Bookings are solely for the use of the studio and its amenities. Clients who need a photographer must bring their own photographer or book one with the studio in advance at an additional cost

Can the assistant take pictures of me?

Yes. Our assistant can take photos of you if you need help but they will not take responsibility for the quality of your images as it is not their profession and any damage to your device.

Can I arrange for my things to be delivered at the studio before I arrive?

Only Half-day, Full-day and Event booking clients can deliver their material in preparation for their booking. This is excluding electronic gadgets and equipment. Service is for things like refreshments, clothes, furniture and etc..

Do you provide lights?

The studio is fitted with track lights and has floor to ceiling windows that provide us with a lot of natural ligh. Additionally, clients can bring their own lights.

Do you have backdrops?

We provide the standard white studio backdrop. Clients should contact the studio for backdrop options at an extra cost.
